Andrew Garcia has been an active participant in the capital markets – as an advisor, investor, and operator – for over two decades. Most recently, as Co-Head of Alternative Capital Solutions for Barclays Capital, Andrew advised both private and public issuers to raise capital through private placements of non-control equity, preferred equity, convertible and non-convertible debt. Prior to joining Barclays, Andrew was a co-founder, President and Director of GoodBulk Ltd. (N-OTC: BULK NO), a de-novo private equity sponsored company established to acquire secondhand vessels in the dry bulk cargo sector. Prior to co-founding GoodBulk, Andrew was a Portfolio Manager for Pine River Capital Management where he was the head of Capital Markets Strategies in North America and Western Europe.

Andrew lives in the Millbrook area of the Hudson Valley New York with his wife and two children where he is active in his community as a U10 Alpine Racing coach and as a member of the Dutchess Day School Board of Trustees.
